Mustang Tire Service provides a surgically clean and precise reconstruction facility that is dedicated to providing the absolute highest quality OTR tire reconstruction and maintenance by fuzing "cutting edge" technology with "Old School" work ethic and attention to detail. At Mustang we understand the value of Giant OTR tires to your organization. We can help you realize MAXIMUM value from your OTR investment by greatly extending operating hours and substantially reducing operating costs.
Mustang Tire Service OTR understands the extreme conditons Mining Tires are subjected to. What may appear to be a minor cut can quickly mutate into a major catastrophe. As a tire is turned, especially under a load, (We know, you NEVER overload your tires)what appears as a minor cut or abrasion generally opens up, allowing the incursion of rocks, hydraulic forces of moisture, and other destructive forces to enter the working plies of the tire. If these forces aren't stopped, complete failure will inevitably soon follow. What is commonly referred to as a separation can be prevented. As long as the damage is corrected before damage has been done that has no negative effect to the structual integrity of the body plies or crown working plies, no structual or section repair is required. There is no limit the number of sidewall restorations or rubber integrity repairs that can be performed on one tire. The tread working plies must be intact. As long as the damage does not extend beyond the protector plies, no reinforcement is needed. But we don't stop there.

Efficent, advanced repair tecniques, practices, and products are applied by Mustang Tire Service, Inc. to safely and significantly increase the tires useful lifespan.
When limited Structual Damage has been done to the SECOND WORKING TREAD PLY, a reinforcing construction is required.

When major structural damage has been done to the body plies or to the tread working plies, a reinforcing construction is required, and it is where we excell.
a) Sidewall - damage to BODY PLIES (not to include the 'turn-up' or 'wrap-over' belt.
b) Tread - damage to (radial) body plies and/or SECOND WORKING Tread PLY.

1. An overall visual inspection to expose an under-inflation, bead damage or seperations.
2. Full inspection of previously repaired injuries to ensure soundness and continued performance.
3. Injury inspection to determine repairability.
